Fabrice Fortner

… is currently working in the IT support department of T-Systems for Airbus Industries. After his studies in computer science at the university of Toulouse (France), he started working as a software developer before moving to Montreal (Quebec, Canada) where he did System and Administration management.
His interest in electronic music started already in the early 90s. Since then he performs live under the "Braindub" label. One of the current outcomes of that is the "lakaFILZ"-project (mix session) and the "pimp"-project (improvisation music). Beside his continuous involvement within different cultural manifestation (Sièstes Electroniques, PDF) he currently focusses his work on modern music experimentation and the development of his own software to manipulate sounds.
